Exhibition: “Spirit of Laws, Genius Loci: The Time of an Architectural Masterpiece. To Build a Courthouse for the European Union”

Exhibition on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the call for projects for the Great extension of the Court of Justice of the European Union. It retraces the construction of the building in relation to the creation of the European Union.

The scenography is organized in three sections. Two linear sections, formed of luminous boxes and some models, are located on both sides of the main staircase. The first section illustrates the urban development of the Kirchberg plateau, whereas the second presents the architectural history of the Court of Justice.

Upstairs, under the chandelier in the hall, the exhibition features some previously unpublished models and drawings.
