Galeristes
2016 - 2019
Carreau du Temple, Paris
Scenography for the contemporary art salon “Galeristes”. Since 2016, this yearly salon gathers French-speaking gallery-owners, to favor direct exchanges with new or confirmed collectors, as well as with the lay public.
The scenography occupies the 1 800 m2 hall at the Carreau du Temple. It consists in a display of metallic modules in a contemporary industrial language. The intention is to promote a more relaxed approach to the artworks by replacing the “white cube”-type displays by one at the crossroads between the office and the warehouse.
The 2019 introduced a new section titled “Anthology of French Art”. Gras lamps edited by Dcw Éditions provide punctual lighting for the artworks. Fluorescent tubular lamps by the SFEL brand light some of the modules, whereas the new ones of the “Anthology” section are lighted by iGuzzini projectors, integrated in the top part of the metallic structure.
